Situated in the heart of Addis Ababa, Tariku Metals has established itself as a trusted local source for high-performance materials, directly supplying industry with essential components. We specialize in providing robust Hastelloy B2 forgings, a niche yet critical product for demanding industrial environments. Our focus is on delivering not just a product, but a reliable solution that supports the growth and integrity of local engineering projects, ensuring our clients have access to world-class materials backed by our dedicated service and deep understanding of the regional market’s unique needs.
These nuts are crafted from a low-carbon variant of 304 stainless steel, which includes about 18–20% Chromium, 8–12% Nickel, up to 2% Manganese, 0.75% Silicon, and a maximum of 0.03% Carbon, with very low levels of Sulfur and Phosphorus. The lower carbon content not only enhances weldability but also minimizes the risk of carbide precipitation during welding, which in turn boosts corrosion resistance in tough environments. With a tensile strength of around 485 MPa and a yield strength of about 170 MPa, these nuts also offer excellent ductility, toughness, and resistance to oxidation, chloride environments, and chemical exposure.

Stainless Steel 304L Nuts find their place in industries that demand strong corrosion resistance, hygiene, and weldability. You’ll often see them in chemical processing plants, oil and gas refineries, food and beverage manufacturing equipment, water treatment systems, and pharmaceutical machinery where contamination-free performance is crucial. They’re also used in heat exchangers, architectural structures, marine hardware, pipelines, and general engineering assemblies. Their ability to perform well in low temperatures and chloride-rich environments makes them ideal for coastal applications.
