Situated in the heart of Addis Ababa, Tariku Metals has established itself as a trusted local source for high-performance materials, directly supplying industry with essential components. We specialize in providing robust Hastelloy B2 forgings, a niche yet critical product for demanding industrial environments. Our focus is on delivering not just a product, but a reliable solution that supports the growth and integrity of local engineering projects, ensuring our clients have access to world-class materials backed by our dedicated service and deep understanding of the regional market’s unique needs.
Hastelloy B2 is a nickel-molybdenum alloy specifically engineered to handle some of the toughest chemical challenges. Its composition provides outstanding resistance to hydrochloric acid across a wide range of concentrations and temperatures, along with excellent performance in other non-oxidizing media. Mechanically, these forgings are incredibly strong and durable, offering high tensile strength and good ductility even under extreme thermal stress. This combination allows them to maintain their structural integrity in environments that would quickly degrade lesser materials.

The resilience of Hastelloy B2 forgings makes them indispensable in sectors where failure is not an option. You’ll typically find them performing critical roles in chemical processing equipment like reactors, distillation systems, and pipes handling aggressive acids. They are also essential in the pharmaceutical industry for manufacturing processes requiring ultra-pure conditions, and in pollution control scrubbers. Essentially, any application involving severe reducing conditions, particularly with hydrochloric acid, relies on the unmatched reliability of these components to ensure safe, continuous, and efficient operation.
