With a composition of primarily 99% nickel, very low levels of carbon, iron and manganese are included, producing a washer with very high corrosion resistance and excellent mechanical performance. The nickel alloy 201 washer has a tensile strength near 600 MPa, yield (low) about 300 MPa and elongation between 30-50%. Hardness ranges from 90-200 HB. Collectively, these properties provide strength, ductility and durability, thus making them reliable in extreme conditions.
