Washers, made with Inconel 617, are created from a nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum based alloy which is characterised by it’s superior high-temperature strength along with its exceptional corrosion resistance capability. The approximate content of Inconel 617 is approximately 44-65% nickel, 20-24% chromium, 8-10% cobalt, 8-10% molybdenum and contain small percentages of aluminum and carbon to enhance the ability of the alloy to maintain stability. Mechanically, Inconel 617 washers provide substantial tensile strength, excellent creep resistance and exceptional oxidation resistance when exposed to elevated temperatures. Furthermore, these washers are engineered to retain their structural integrity during high temperature and high-level mechanical stress. Consequently, Inconel 617 washers are well suited to high-temperature industrial applications and to providing a combination of long-term durability, reliability and the capability of resisting aggressive chemical and oxidizing environments.
