Monel K500 Washer is made from a nickel-copper alloy with additions of aluminum and titanium for enhanced strength. The typical composition is around 63% nickel, 30% copper, with traces of iron, manganese, aluminum, and titanium. The result of this unique combination of ingredients provides excellent corrosion resistance to seawater and other harsh environments as well as high tensile strength, good hardness, and exceptional fatigue resistance. In addition to being stable at extreme temperatures, Monel K500 washers perform well in marine, chemical, and oil & gas applications, where their performance and reliability must be sustained for long periods of time.
