Stud Bolts Super Duplex Steel are characterized by an elevated concentration of chromium (24%-26%), nickel (6%-8%), and molybdenum (3%-5%) in addition to nitrogen and trace amounts of manganese, silicon, and copper. The dual-phase microstructure that consists of both austenite and ferrite offers superior performance against pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, particularly in environments where chlorides are present. The mechanical properties of stud bolts made from this dual-phase steel include a high level of tensile strength (800 to 1000 MPa) with a yield strength of approximately 550 to 700 MPa as well as superior toughness, fatigue resistance, and reliability at high temperatures and pressures.
