Stud bolts made of Copper Nickel 90/10 having 90% Copper and 10% Nickel with small amounts of Iron and Manganese added to improve strength and resistance to corrosion. Copper Nickel 90/10 has an excellent resistance to seawater, biofouling and chloride-induced corrosion making it ideal for use in marine environments and offshore drilling operations. Copper Nickel 90/10 stud bolts have moderate tensile strength approximately in the range of 310-450 MPa, with good ductility giving them the ability to withstand significant stresses and strains without breaking. The very good thermal conductivity and excellent resistance to erosion make Copper Nickel 90/10 an ideal material for piping, heat exchangers and many other applications.
