The chemical composition of Duplex Steel S32205 Bolts is approximately 22% Chromium, 5 to 6% Nickel, 3% Molybdenum, 0.14% – 0.20% Nitrogen, which provides good corrosion resistance and strength to the material. Their dual-phase structure (Austenitic-Ferritic) allows them to perform extremely well mechanically; the tensile strength of Duplex Steel S32205 Bolts is generally between 680 and 850 MPa, and their yield strength generally ranges from 450 to 550 MPa. The high level of corrosion resistance exhibited by these bolts is due to their ability to resist both pitting corrosion and stress-corrosion cracking and is therefore highly desirable in environments that are considered aggressive.
