The predominant materials found in Inconel 601 Stud Bolts are Nickel (Approx 58 – 63%), Chromium (Approx 21 – 25%), and Iron, with additional trace elements such as Aluminium and Carbon. Nickel-Chromium alloys are well known for their anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion properties at elevated temperature. Mechanically, Inconel 601 Stud Bolts also have high tensile strength, very good creep resistance and thermal cycling stability, which means they can operate at temperatures above 1000 degrees Celsius without losing their structural integrity. They are excellent choices for use in furnaces, heat treating equipment, chemical processing equipment and similar types of industrial applications that need a continuously strong and reliable component.
