Inconel 617 stud bolts are made mainly from nickel (52-67%) and chromium (20-22%), along with other elements like Cobalt (8-10%), Molybdenum (8% to 10%), and trace elements of Aluminum and Titanium. With all of these elements in one alloy, Inconel 617 Stud Bolts have exceptional strength at high temperatures, oxidation resistance, and corrosion resistance. In addition to these advantages, Inconel 617 stud bolts provide excellent mechanical properties such as high tensile strength, excellent creep resistance, superior thermal cycling durability, and load bearing capacity. Inconel 617’s ability to withstand temperatures as high as 982 Degrees Celsius (1800 Degrees Fahrenheit) makes them suitable for use in Power Generation, Petrochemical and Industrial applications, where consistently high performance is required in those extreme high-temperature and/or corrosive environments.
