Nickel Alloy 201 bolts are composed of approximately 99% nickel, with very low levels of carbon (≤0.015%), as well as some minor amounts of manganese, silicon and iron. Because of the very low amount of carbon, Nickel Alloy 201 bolts, have enhanced resistance to sensitization and intergranular corrosion and are therefore suitable for use in high-temperature and welded environments. Nickel Alloy 201 bolts have tensile strengths ranging between 550 – 750 MPa and yield strengths ranging between 200 – 400 MPa and provide the best combination of ductility and toughness. Nickel Alloy 201 bolts offer high levels of corrosion resistance, stability at high temperatures, and stress corrosion cracking resistance; therefore, they are recommended for use in marine, chemical and industrial applications.
