The ZERON 100 Bolt provides an alloy of Super Duplex stainless steel that consists of equal parts chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, and nitrogen. Due to its composition, ZERON 100 has very good resistance to corrosion as well as good to high strength. The typical chemical composition is about 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 3.5% molybdenum, and smaller amounts of copper and tungsten to allow for optimal performance under extreme conditions. In terms of Mechanical Properties, ZERON 100 offers very high tensile strength, exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice and stress corrosion cracking as well as excellent toughness in the event of impact. Furthermore, these bolts will retain their strength at elevated temperatures, thereby providing consistent reliability under the most demanding operating conditions found in the industrial sector.
